Not a whole lot to see but, the clutch did say goodbye....

Enjoy

Already have a new clutch solution planned, I was running the OS Triple Plate, but I'll be going back to a 300ZX NA flywheel and an 'affordable' clutch setup that should handle 700+ft/lb of tq, stay tuned.

How does your camcorder pick up the sound soo good? It sounds awesome! I could listen to you run through the burnout all day.

What clutch were you running when you broke? And did you trailer it to the track?

Hehe, tapping the rev limiter a few times is quite pleasing on the ears.

I honestly dont know the secret on the camera, its just a Sony MiniDV cam I bought a few years ago when I worked at best buy, def not top of the line, but not a POS either. I will have some out-of-car video up as soon as I get it from my folks

Regarding the trailer, yep, its a secret until I post up the chart but the car made some impressive numbers on a stock block yesterday morning, so I def wanted to trailer it. My bro owns a speed shop and they have their own semi with a 50+ft featherlite, rolling in style is definately nice!

haha oops! I think I was as giddy as a little school boy while I was waiting for the video to download and didn't read the rest of the post. I'm running an RPS Max clutch (6 puck sprung hub), but it is only rated for 520 ft-lbs of torque. For 700+hp, I am not sure that it would last too long. I'm surprised you broke a triple plate OS Giken!

I want to own a speed shop and have a semi-trailer.

yea the RPS max 6 puck is the ****. Used it on my SR and plan to use one on the RB.

However, RPS makes a Twin disk carbon clutch , wink.

Your clutch blew because you weren't wearing the mullet wig!

I want to hear what your dyno numbers were! email me.. cause I'll be offline all weekend at NOPI in Atlanta.

Guess Karl's hitting the dyno again tomorrow in Chicago. ??

Holy Geeze!!!

Sad that OK Giken did not hold up, I remember how stoked you were when you received it... What are those rated to? I would have thought it would hold 700whp being a carbon triple plate .. oh well!

Glad I got to see you at ITB!

Oh yeah, that video was nasty.. Me likey!
