I ran a Spec stg3, it held up great and had a really nice pedal feel, it did tend the engage near the top though. Overall I would reccomend spec to anyone.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing that. I also have a spec stg 3 cluthc and flywheel kit and the only issue that I have is that is does tend engage high in the pedal. I wonder if there is something I can do to help that. I already adjusted the pedal, and replaced my master, slave, converted to steel braided lines and removed the clutch slave damper underneath. I would also reccomend spec also.

Before the spec I had an Exedy 3 puk unsprung disc with a toda flywheel. That was a great setup but very expensive and the engagement was very harsh, although it never once slipped until it blew.

blackrsjdm, I had a similar set-up, i replaced the master cyl, and slave, and removed the dampener, i fiddeled with the adjustment many times, and it still engaged really high on the pedal. I wasnt using SS line though.

I bought an RPS clutch kit from Phase2, it is basically a RPS pressure plate, Exedy clutch disc, and all OEM bearings and bushings.

I also have a Fidanza Flywheel.

ACT and Clutchmasters are also very good clutches, Clutchmaster's is very stiff and ACT is damn near bulletproof but slightly more $$$.

I have no issues otherwise, but glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Exedy stage 1. Clutch pedal felt nearly identical to stock clutch with a slight better hold.

OSGiken Supersingle. It takes a little bit to get used to for daily driving. Grabs almost instantly once you let off the clutch pedal. Not too harsh of a grab, but you would need to keep your rpms up if you don't want to stall the car. I haven't had it slip at all yet.

For all you guys with the Spec Stage 2, does it feel way more stiff or is it just about the oem feel?

Pedal stiffness depends on the pressure plate, I have the heavier pressure plate so my pedal was stiffer.
