well, im in need of a new clutch, so i was wondering if some of you guys with experience could tell me which brands are better to use.

im currently NA right now but im piecing together a kit for around 7-8 psi. so my horsepower wont be too high. but the thing is that i really want a strong clutch that i can tear the hell out of (clutch kicks!), and will hold up the longest.

i was thinking like a stage 2/3 clutch. i will be running a resurfaced flywheel. and the car is only driven in the summer, so it doesnt have to be too streetable, but its not like im drag racing. (drift and autoX.) when i let out the clutch, i just really want that thing to hold!

thanks guys. all help is appreciated.

Is chattering a bit on launch ok with you?How about engine and drivetrain vibration through an unsprung hub?Marcel or no marcel?

Why would you be tearing the hell out of a clutch? Nothing lasts forever and abuse will shorten the life of anything. If the clutch doesn't break, something else in your drivetrain will.

I know you are just goofing with those comments, but I want to be very clear that once you have that clutch in, you're stuck with it until removal, so choose your needs accurately and wisely. Once you have educated yourself on your needs, the clutch you want will stand out to you, and then the only thing left would be to choose a reliable brand.

Here is an easy link. Also go ahead and do a search, there is a lot of smart people here that have already answered similar questions.
