1;fill clutch reservoir(keep checking as you bleed system)2;remove dust cap from bleeder screw on clutch slave cylinder3;pump clutch pedal SLOWLY several times, hold it down and loosen the bleeder screw(use a tube on screw to catch fluid in a clean container)4;tighten bleeder screw and release clutch pedal gradually5;repeat untill all air bubbles are gone, tighten bleeder screw, replace dust cover6;check resevior7;depress pedal several times to check the operation the clutch8;check for leaks

a 2 person job but fairly straight forward, just like brake lines

If you still have the clutch dampener box you have to bleed that first. Just remove it and bend the line, becuase it is IMPOSSIBLE to bleed. Unless you have a vaccum bleeder.

This sounds rediculous, but it worked great for me:

1. remove dampener2. Open slave bleed enough to get a little drippage3. Very slowly pour in brake fluid (About 1/2qt)4. Close slave bleeder

Might not work for everyone, but just using gravity to remove the air worked perfectly for me somehow. Clutch is a Spec Stage III, so Id definitly know if it was grabbing when it wasnt supposed to. Much better pedal feeel after removing dampener.

Note: Clean area around dapener bolts as good as you can, and let the dampener bolts marinate in some PB Blaster before trying to remove them

you have to bleed at the damper first. then bleed the slave if you want to retain the damper box pos.

Whats the point of the damper? whats the advantage of removing it? ive been having some problems as well lately and just wondering what removing the damper will affect?

removal has the following advantages/disavantages.

advantage = stiffer clutch pedal feel, and easier bleeding.

disadvantage = pedal might rattle at higher rpm and if you're tired or a lazy bastard, the stiffer clutch pedal won't be all that fun to deal with.

yeah it's easy to get back to stock. Just that damper box. and reconnecting 2 lines. that's it.
