first off, the problem i have is that the clutch pedal feels nice and tight...(as if there's no air) but the clutch even when I press all the way, seems as if the clutch isn't completely disengaged...like i have to push it hard into gear.

It was so bad that i had to ram it into gear and even with the clutch completely pressed, the car would roll because the clutch was still slightly engaged.

So I bled the system, both slave and damper. First i just left the damper open and kept pumping fluid through because it was black until clear clutch (brake) fluid started coming out. THen i started bleeding it. I probably did each one 5 times.

Clutch is noticeably better but still hard to get into gear a little. and clutch still grabs after lifting pedal off the floor about 1/2 inch!

What could be the problem? Is it adjustable at all? do i need to bleed it even more?

The clutch pedal probably needs adjustment, look under the dash at where the clutch pedal sits, at the top of the pedal, you'll see a bolt and a pin, look at it, and it's prety much self explanatory on how to adjust it.

I'm assuming you're talking about the rod that actually connects into the master clutch cylinder? I looked at it and it's as long as it will get. it's barely screwed into the pedal itself. Does that mean it's as far out as it goes?

hmmm... yeah that's what I'm talking about. Hmmm... all the way you say. Ok, when you press on the clutch pedal, is there any slack at all? If there isn't, that means it's been adjusted way to far, if the rod never returns to it's original position I don't think it will push enough fluid to move the clutch plate all the way therefore your clutch will still engage to some degree regardless of how deep you push on the clutch pedal.

hmm...sounds like it might make sense. and doesn't hurt. I'll try it again later tonight. I bled the clutch again all over last night and this morning, it started off just ok, but 2 min later, it was next to impossible to shift. I had to rev match to shift.

I'm also almost wondering if one of the bleeders is leaking and letting air in...
