is it normal for an aftermarket clutch te be noisy. I just installed a ACT clutch and everytime I start the car it would be really noisy like the springs were out or something and it makes a high squeaking noise. After the car warms up then everything is fine. Is this normal or was the clutch installed wrong?

A squeaking noise is not normal. A chatter while the clutch is engaging is however. (On higher end aftermarket clutches...IE Spec Stage 3 Six Puck unsprung)

yeah thats it, a chattering noise only when i engage it.......so that means that the spring is not sprung? Do I have to fix it then?

if its just a chattering noise, its a byproduct of the clutch's clamping power. Completely normal.

If it's a loud squeal most likely it's the throwout bearing.
