An alignment tool? I've done a few clutches and never used and 'alignment' tool. I'm pretty sure you dont have to use it.

You've been lucky then. Without the tool, the clutch disc won't go on the input shaft and sit in the pilot bushing very easily.

So long as you can find a 24 spline alignment tool, you should be gravy. KAs, SRs, and Maximas all use the same spline count input shaft.

If worse comes to worse, use the trans to do it. You can set the clutch and pressure plate on the trans input shaft, and then get the pressure place bolted on with a few bolts. Pull the trans off and finish tightening the bolts.

I guess I should look into this then.
