something to look into for sure

PEZi is prettymuch right. Hydraulic clutches generally have no adjustment and are self adjusting.

This holds true for the 720's there is a small adjustment to correct pedal hieght by means of a threaded rod where the clutch pedal connects to the master cylinder, but it is not intended to correct engagement/disengagement issues.

What problems are you having? Most common issue on our trucks is the slave cylinder on the side of the trans leaking and causing the clutch to not disengage. pull back the boot and see if any fluid is trapped behind there. a very small amount is acceptable because of the age of our trucks, but it should be minimal. Also look at the clutch master cylinder and dampener for leaks, but usually its the slave.

Also, its possible the fork is worn or the throwout/release bearing is gone, but those usually get noisy to let you know there is a problem.

If all else fails and nothing is obvious, just bleed the clutch hydraulics, it uses dot 3 brake fluid, bleeder is on the slave.

Take the transmission off and check the clutch and while you are there check the rear main seal, and the front seal of the transmission. If you get any fluid especially oils on the clutch disc it will slip.

True, but if the rod between the slave and fork is lengthened or shortened it will change the adjustment.

I didn't think our 720s had an adjustable rod on the slave.

Either way, the system is designed to need no adjustment. If your clutch is slipping it could be oil contanminated like some others said. look up in there with a flashligth first and see if anything is obvious

They do not have an adjustable rod. But its a method of adjustment if needed. I had to use a rod from a 910 when I changed the gearbox on my 720. It also has a specific length.
