Got a new oem exedy clutch trying to dial in the adjustment, whats happening is sumtimes when I apply the gas I get a good punch but other times I damn near have the gas all the way down but doesnt feel like its pulling as hard as it should be. I used to be able to go around a corner then shift into second to initiate drift but now cant get the power punch to do it anymore. happens in all gears but off and on. clutch? or fuel problem? confused Help?

Is the clutch slipping? Otherwise it's engine/fuel.

doesnt really feel like it rpms stay pretty consistent with speed. 1st n 2nd seem to do it a little more. im using mobil1 75-90 ls fluid in tha transmission. also feels like when I let out grabs like its already sitting on the pressure plate, like not a full release.

Sounds like engine/fuel not drive train.

Check plugs, fuel filter etc. Injector issue?

If it's idling rough yea it's not drivetrain.

Check the plugs by pulling each one by one. If it looks good then touch the plug to ground (insulated pliers) while someone turns the engine over. If each one has good spark your plugs and wiring are ok.

Pull each plug wire one by one and start the car. If one cylinder is running bad pulling the bad one won't make it any worse. If the bad cylinder has good plug and wiring then you have a bad injector. A bad fuel pump will not have any bad cylinders, just worsening as the rpms go up and the engine becomes fuel starved.

Injectors go out a lot in these old cars, are really easy to replace.

You're welcome. Just repaying the favor as I would never have gotten my son's transmission back in without the info from this forum.

I drive a 04 vette, and corvetteforum.com has just about every bit of info you could ever ask for.

My guess is one of your injectors went south.
