what's up guys, i was gonna post in the technical section but figured more people venture on to this side so i might get more answers here. anyways i noticed that there's not much play in my clutch and that for it to engage or even turn the car on it has to be FULLY pressed down to the floor so i was wondering, does this necessarily mean i need a new clutch or could it just be some sort of an adjustment?? if you guys can help me out i'd appreciate it, thanks!

It's due to the switch in the clutch pedal.Your pedal needs to be fully pressed down or it won't let you start your car. It's normal, nothing is broken.

Bad things happen if you start your car when it's in gear and there are no safety cut-offs, think about it.

240's have clutch pedal switches? Wow

I've driven about 5-6 different 240's and none of them required me to depress the clutch to start the car.
