For those that have difficulty understanding exactly what is going on with this financial crisis you can get a good explanation here.

It is never a good idea for a presidental candidate to lie and piss off David Letterman.

Letterman needs to shut his manpleaser and go back to what he does best:

Entertaining drunk fraternity boys.

AZ- Letterman is an entertainer and I found the show very entertaining. Letterman had a right to be pissed. McCain could have just called Letterman and explained the need in these trying times to be seen in the mainstream press and not on an entertainment show, offering to come on at another time.

Why is it that Republicans were fine when McCain felt Letterman was a serious enough venue to announce his Presidential bid on the show but it's not ok and Letterman is "weak" when he exposes McCain for lying directly to him?

I don't have that much of an issue with it - I'm just saying I don't really think Mac owes him any more explanation than any other guest.

Hell, how many drug-addled starlets and retard actors have no-showed for Letterman? Happens all the time.

Letterman was ditched for a news interview in the middle of a crisis.

Didnt see SNL mocking Obama for ditching the show during the hurricane.

The difference is that Obama didn't blatantly lie about what he was doing instead. McCain did.

McCain did an interview with the press and talked about the crisis (however WRONG he is on the issue), instead of BSing with Letterman. What a crime. What a travesty.
