Cluster question for RB25

Posting for a friend so bear w/ me.

My friend has an RB25 and as of now, has no speed/tach. What are the options he has to get it working. As of now, he's shooting for an autometer speedometer and Blitz Tachometer. I've read somewhere about recalibrating the cluster or using a resistor in the cluster but cannot seem to find the page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We've searched around for a few days to find nothing. I think are search words are to blame.
