Cluster problems

I have a 93 240sx se with an digital cluster. The LED's will come on, but most of the time the illumination systems for the tachometer and other guages, including the digital speedometer, will not engage. the part that I can't figure out is when it's really hot out, ( around 80F), it activates and works fine, no flickering. If anyone has had a similar experience with this or if anyone knows where to get another one, feel free to post.
