Over the past year my LCD display has been sporadically coming and going... It's now almost completely gone. I've seen many complaints through various forums regarding this issue but have yet to find a do-it-yourself solution. Some say it has to be replaced, while others say it's a faulty ribbon cable, still others say it's a soldered connection thats the culprit. Has anyone managed to repair on of these themselves?

Looks like this process ( http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w210-e- ... y-fix.html ) could be used to repair the Quest display.

There's a YouTube video showing how to remove the display, but I'm sure you've seen that already.

Welcome aboard!
