Yo, these wires (illumination) dont need to be connected (if you dont want to ...) but if they are you need to make sure they are correct. In other words...lets find out if the radio or wiring is the problem you are having. It sounds like you are missing the plugs in your car audio wiring...if yes, just disconnect everything and make SURE no wires are touching at all. Turn car on, check your cluster for any signs of lights. Are missing cluster lights....???? Then the problem is somewhere else. If you have a plug in your car audio wiring harness then all you do is disconnect radio and follow the same steps already mentioned. Remember to disconnect the negative terminal when playing or disconnecting wires.......or you will burn fuses. If you are still missing lights on your cluster then need to check the cluster itself or your brake lights....Yes if you dont have brake lights, your cluster lights would not come on. But you very seldom see this....
