cluster help

ok i have two clusters . and last week both worked.. i just got done putting in a new custom dash and installed the first cluster and it worked fine for two days,but now all the lights come on and the turn lights work but none of the needles move at all. gas,mph,rpm,temp. but the clock works lol., so i swaped out that one for the other one i had and got the same thing.

could this be a fuze or something?

i just tryed a new cluster wire harness, didnt help

so its not the clusters or the wire harness.

still no temp,rpm,mph,fuel.

what should i look at now?

It might be the TCU. Timing Control Unit. It is a small white box that is located to the left of your fuses that are under the driver side dash.

not I'm getting really mad...what controls the cluster no matter what i do it well not work my car is overheating i think .....but i don't know i really need the cluster to come alive again

when you changed the dash out did you remove any of the harness's out or modify the wires? did you add electrical componets? its got to be something simple.... did you check all the fuses?

no. all plug and play . the only thing i did was used the power from the lighter for the boost gauge. one thing.. after the new dash it all worked for a few days ,then i came out one day and the all stop but have power

im having the same problem man, really sucks.

i dont get it works one day , then poof your f%&*. how does the light get power but not the needles

Have you guys figured this one out? We are having a similar problem. took the car for a spin and the cluster fell over (no dash) then that was it. nothing, no lights or needles? think we might have just busted ours. Only wiring changed in that area was the wire ran for the tach it self from the coil. Everything was working fine though.
