Cluster help?

Well today I installed the Digital cluster and Hud back into my car, well I first turned the key it light right up, as did it on the cluster itself. well after a few seconds it slowly dimmed out and didn't come back on. I turned the key again and it did the same thing. Now it will only come on a for a split second every few random key turns.

on a side note, all my interior lights stopped working?!

Man I've had the same problem........I've tried other digital clusters and they all ended up doing the same thing as urs..........but u can go to the junkyard and get an anlog cluster......I didn't think it would work, but it did.......my 240 is a 91 so if I would have bought a year 91-94 analog cluster the cluster hookups would have been the same and I wouldn't have had to cut and reconnect any other wires and it would have plugged in the same as the digital one......but I couldn't find and in that year span so I had to get a 1989 240sx cluster......after splicing the wires (cutting them) and reconnecting them with the same colors it all works great!!!!!

If you want to change to an analog cluster all you have to do is get the cluster wiring harness. It unplugs from the dash wiring harness deep behind the dash.
