I have a 2007 G35 sedan (actually a Skyline 350GT PV36) the back light for the fuel gauge stopped working some time ago, now part of the rev counter is intermittent.
I'm happy to take the cluster out to repair it (the most inconvenient part is resetting everything after the battery has been disconnected for the airbag removal, I read the cluster does not fit past the steering wheel and windscreen, even at it lowest and full out position). I would like to have the replacement bulbs LED's?? ready for the repair. My question is - Do any of you know what I need in the way of replacement bulbs or LEDs?
Greg.

I believe those are SMT surface mount LED's, not bulbs unfortunately. I'm not sure exactly which ones, but I know Nissan changed over to SMT LED's around that time period, starting with the Infiniti line. Wish I could tell you which one, but maybe the FSM has some guidance? I doubt the IPB would help. Are you competent with a soldering iron?

Ace2cool, Thanks for your reply, you've given me more information (and in a few words) than anyone else in 2 years! I suspect they are LED's, good to know they are likely surface mount. Yes I'm good with a soldering iron, my son is also an electronics engineer, very useful!

Heeelllppp - I've been unable to locate an article I had on how to remove the gauge cluster on a 2007 G35 (PV36) Do any of you have this info?? Planning to replace some of the LED's, I'll take photo's and note what type of SM LED's and post them on this forum.
