Ok i was working on the car and i had an the dimer light wire cut and the day time-light on and the wire touch metal and (ground)So know my day time don't come out and my cluster light is not working.On my way down the road the car died 3 time on me any HELP!!,I check the tcu and all of the fuses they are good but i didn't see the tcu burned inside but that dosen't mean anything it still can br bad right? Please don't flam me i have been looking like a maniac for some answers.

i had this same kind of problem. the cluster sends a signal to the alternator without that signal the battery dies. check and see if its your battery that causes the car to die. if so you might have something blown in the cluster area. do all your gauges work? my rpm gauge quit when my cluster stopped lighting up...

Do you know if there is a fusible link in the cluster that is not making it light up.No my rpm and mph gages work but don't light up and the day time running light too,so there is a wire that goes to the alt and check for continuity if not it is in my cluster?

Bump me.....Ok i used my Friends tcu and still nothing any other opinion .i will be checking the light switch tomorrow......
