Clunking Sound coming from shifter.

Rescently i've been hearing thei whining sound when my car decelerates in gear. And also my shifter is starting to clunk when I move it side to side, I'm worried the transmission is going to blow, anyone have experience with these symtoms?

Note, I'm running a Sr20det Redtop in my S13 Coupe.

Don't really know about the clunking mine always makes noise but for the whining check your transmission for leaks/fluid.
