There is this noise that I can hear coming from the drivers side fender well..sounds kinda like hmm...a turbo going out? Not sure but it sounds like something spinning and hitting or grinding something..it's not loud but it worries me. Anyone have any thoughts?

the noise, happens when idling? could be the impeller hitting the compressor housing this is very bad, could also be a belt idler, or potentially a timing belt tensioner or idler, very bad as well! I'd pull the pipes and look for signs of oil, if the impeller is grinding most likely your sending some oil through, you can pull the accessory belts and see if the noise persists, to rule out accessory idlers and bearings

I think I'd want to find out what that was pretty promplty. Is the noise the same whether the car is driving or stationary with the engine running?Does the noise change under load or while coasting?
