clunking and wobble struts or control arm?

getting major front end wobble at between 40mph and 60mph and clunking noise when going over bumps, both small and large. i've had a few ppl say its the lower control arm and i had others say its the struts. dont really want to purchase the wrong part as they are pricey. anyone know? how can i tell?

Why don't you start with an inspection at a reputable suspension shop? Have you ever replaced you front tension rod bushings?
