I wish I could access the thread(s) about the clunk when turning left/right/over bumps especially. Im off to the dealership armed with nothing but my word, and good looks.

Was it the whole steering shaft assembly that needed to be replaced?

Thank you biggie, I just couldn't get them to come up in the search. Even when I clicked archived data.

I also remember there was someone who had aftermarket springs, and then the clunk came up, the dealer said they would have to return it to stock in order to service it under warranty. I find myself in the exact same position.

Im at a loss as to what to do. I imagine ill take it to a friend and swap the springs out, and then take it back up there? I hope they dont hit me with 'oh you got it serviced somewhere else, warranty void'. Especially after all that crap.

Any idea's would be appreciated *tears*

Here is one with the clunk for aftermarket springs, was just a loose bolt problem I think.

I had the same issue...luckily a deep pot hole fixed my issue, no more klunking, but I do still have the occasional pop in the steering wheel.
