Hey guys, I have a 93 j30t with 130k and I bought it with 127k. And I just changed the front shocks. I feel the difference but I still hear and feel a "CLUNK" when I hit a sharp bump, its the same noise I heard before I changed the shocks, it feels like metal hitting, I want to know if it could be the control arm bushing or just the springs. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for the help, but do you think it could be the control arm bushing or springs,?

on the Q generally when the upper control arm bushings (upper links) go out they tend to creak... meaning you are making a turn and they sound like a rusty hinged door slowly opening.....

Sounds like a sway bar bushings (sway bar links) problem. Could be ball joint. Worn control arm bushings in general don't clunk (unless metal to metal). Check tension rod bushing for wear!Cheers!

I just inserted the shock into the strut assembaly, it wasn't easy I had to remove the whole strut assembaly to dot that...

Check your tension rod bushings. Mine had a leak and of course made a CLUNK noise. Problem solved after replacing them.
