what could this be?not sure but i dont think tie rods would do thatball joints??tension rods?? thanks for any info couldnt find anything pertaining to my needs

completely stock on the suspension.

Give it no thought at all. Just go drive at a high rate of speed and snatch the steering wheel left to right as quick as you can. I think that the underlying problem will surface. Please post photos of aftermath.

theres no visible damage well you can see the strut rod bracing scraped up underneith but thats it the tie rods are okay but what will going fast and snatching the wheel either way do?

It shouldn't make any difference but are we talking about a 240 or Q45? It's the sound your bump stop makes when banged by the full weight of the chassis. I think your struts have gone flat, or the strut rod is bent, and you're riding on springs only. Pull a strut and see if it will compress by hand.

You may be here by mistake and might try posting in the 240 or drift forums where you'd get more help (and sympathy).

So you are bouncing off curbs and haven't taken it to an alignment shop for inspection? Have you ever done anything to maintain the suspension?

Your front sway bar bushings may be gone. Check the bushings that connect the bar to the bottom of the frame. That could be causing all that clunking nonsense.

Just go to a junkyard and grab some bushings off another Q45, its fairly easy to change them. 1 hour for a first time job, 15 mins the next time.
