95 240sx coupe. so i test drove this car and when i would decel hard, down shift at high rpms or break hard i would clunk pretty loudly. the guy who owns it said when he had struts and springs put on it, the shop said it was bushings. my question is does this sound like the problem to all you?? another question is he wants 2grand for the car and is it worth that if i have to put bushings in the rear end. other that the car is almost perfect and has 150k on it but was takin very good care of, by the looks of it. so any input would be appriciated. by the way my 90 240 ka24e seems to have a whole lot more A$$ than that 95 ka24de, it shouldnt!!

its your subframe bushings. both mine and my dads s14's do it. 50 bucks and 4 hours will fix it.

I don't know, but to me it looks like a lot of work. Luckyly, I took care of mine with just collars. Now you need to search what you want. OEM, Nismo, Urethane or Aluminum.

Just bushings. These cars are getting up there in years and any rubber exposed to the elements or fan boi drifters is going to be shot. When I got my s14 I had to replace every bushing in the suspension and used aluminum subframe colors on the subframe. Be prepared to fix some stuff if you buy it lol.
