I've got a 2007 Quest 3.5 S

When it down shifts and upshifts there is a pronounced CLUNK.

I had all the motor mounts replaced... a little better, but still clunks.
I had the control arms replaced...a little better, but still clunks.

It's most pronounced when braking hard, and the AT down shifts from 3rd to 2nd. Also noticeable at very low speeds with light acceleration. (In parking lots etc)
Any ideas?

Thanks.

I just had the transmission serviced, so I assume (hope) they checked the fluids and filter.. Will double check. I'll have him look at the sway bar links and bushings too. Will let u know what we find. Thanks for the tip.

Anytime i just have a 01 quest here for service and the rack n pinion bushing were bad. You must chk them often since the stock units fail quickly. Also the strut mount was broken which made noise on the inside as well
