Ok guys i'm hopping to get my car done by the end of next moth but the last thing on my check list is a clucth/flywheel. I was wondering what you guys thought about buying a used clucth/flywheel combo from rhdjapan.com? they have great deals but I feal a littel skecthy buying a used clucth. i mean you dont really know if it was broken in correctly. have any of you guys bought a clucth set up from them.

Then i was thinking about buying a flywheel from Jgycustoms but i dont know how good it reallly is. i'm not a scientist but it looks like they made a flywheel and cut alot of holes in it. But like i said i really don't know it might kick ***.

Then i'm left with a clucth i have heard it all on this fourm. From ebay clucths to os giken. but i really dont know what is good for a fair price. my goals right now aren't crazy i just want to get the damm thing running.

Thanks for all the Help Anthony

Used Clutches are trash. Especially with the RB, since you have to pull the whole motor to change it.Do it once and do it right.

The only way you buy a used clutch is if its a multi-disc and you rebuild it.

Madcowvert-Hit me up.I'm in Ft Lauderdale.I can get you a brand new Clutch and Flywheel (Aluminum)[email protected]

This is what I have in my 20:

I'd say either exedy stage 1 (organic) or Spec stage 3, unless you have lofty power goals, both would hold fine and are reasonably priced.

You dont need to pull the motor to change the clutch, I installed mine with the motor in no problem.

I have the Top Hat mounts, you have to use a 3 foot 3/8" extension to get the top transmission bolts, and a ratcheting box wrench to get the ones against the firewall.
