I usually have my sunroof closed, but will occasionally slide the interior cover open to let sunlight through. I do notice an excessive amount of wind noise coming through especially on highway speeds and reverberating in the cabin. It goes away with the cover closed, but that is only a temporary solution. Is this a case of just changing out the weatherstripping or something more?

I have an 09, so this may not apply to you. My wind noise wasn't severe, but it was noticeable with the shade opened. Open the roof, look near the inner frame and there are some phillip head screws. Mine were not completely tight. After I tightened them, the noise went away.
