Pretty straight forward but havent seen this before. I was walking thru the junk yard looking for a dome light cover for my s13 hatch and stumbled across i belive a 1997 maxima might of been a little older..

I stumbled across the sealed compartment that they have above the radio and ripped it out. To my surprise it bolts right into the existing din location under aftermarket radios and looks very nice in an s13. Its the exact same size as a typical din compartment but has a door on it.

This would be a fantastic way to hide your timers and safc ect while cleaning up the interior. Here's a few pics. It cost me a grand total of 2$ and since its factory nissan the color of the black is a perfect match of what my s13 interior is. (Plastic wise)

I know its simple and pretty straight forward so obviously no explanation is required but it definitely changes the look of the interior and I like it. I had the flap open down instead of up because of the low location and the angle of the s13 radio

Thanks. I thought so. Its simple but sometimes its the simple touches that do it.
