As some of you know, my car hasent been starting for the better part of 5 months now. I did my best and couldnt figure it out, I called out a lot of people to look at but I could never get anyone to come out a second time, so of course I wasted a lot of time trying to explain everything all over again to some one new along with what the last guy did. Well today I got a good friend to come look at it and hes narrowed it down to TWO wires. To refresh everyones memory, I have an RB25 in an 89 240sx, it ran and drove for one day then went all to hell the next day when I installed the fans wrong. Been broken ever since, and Ive spent a couple hundred bucks on new relays and an ECU that did nothing.

He said all the fuseable links look good, he took at look at the ECU plug and here is what he found. This info is based off the Nissan ECR 33 RB25DET Computer pinout on the rb25det.org page:

10 - Ignition Ground - GOOD16 - ECCS Relay Coil ground - MISSING18 - Fuel Pump Relay - MISSING20 - Ignition Ground - Good49 - +12 V switched through ECCS Relay - DEAD50 - Ground - GOOD58 - Unswitched 12V (backup) - DEAD59 - +12 V switched through ECCS Relay - DEAD60 - Ground - GOOD103 - Cyl No 3 Injector Ground - MISSING105 - Cyl No 2 Injector Ground - DEAD107 - Ground - DEAD108 - Ground - GOOD109 - +12 V switched through ECCS Relay - GOOD110 - Cyl No 5 Injector Ground - GOOD112 - Cyl No 6 Injector Ground - DEAD114 - Cyl No 4 Injector Ground - MISSING116 - Ground - GOOD

He said he put MISSING where there physically wasent a pin in the plug. He believe the problem is a break somewhere in 58 Yellow/Black and in 48/59 Black/White, because neither of them are getting any power. This is what Ive got, can anyone help me out?

here it goes....

49/59/109 go to eccs relay number 5. on that same relay 3 and 1 should constantly be hot. pin 16 from the ecu should go to the eccs relay on number 2. that lets the ecu ground the eccs relay opening the relay getting power to its 3 sections.

pin 58 should tap directly to the constant from 1 on the eccs relay. that stays hot to keep the ecus memory.

not sure if you have series 1 or 2, but series 1 you have an IGN relay which should get power when you turn the switch.

also pin....(cant remember) should be getting 12v when you turn the key on. (i think its 48 off the top of my head) its IGN 12v on the diagram

edit: im going all off memory right now. when i can ill double check, but again do at your own risk.

Run a temp wire and supply pin 58 with 12v. I think you may have a burnt open wire bcause of the fans being wired incorrectly.

Run a wire from 58 to 109? Or where else?

Just supply 58 power. You are supposed to be getting 12V through pin 58 all the time. Which wire did you tape to power the Fans>?

A plug for a small electric fan in front of the radiator. Bad idea.

Just so you know, we got the car started again. I did it by putting power directly to the fuel pump and that yellow/black wire. Im gunna go back and try and find where my break is. Its somewhere after the relay cause the fuel pump relay clicks but the pump isnt comming on.
