Hi guys, i'm askin in regards to the RB25det, and i'm wondering if there's a shorter ratio alternative we can use in the gearbox. In particular, i'd want one geared towards acceleration, as opposed to the stocker which is geared really high. I'm after shorter gearing because it's primarily city driven and when and if time permits, a track/auto-x car.

Can we swap gears? and if so, what trannies should we be looking for. Thanks for the help everybody!

godspeed :)

Japanese companies like OS Giken, Route 6, Garage Saurus, HKS and Nismo make crossmission kits. For the RB25 specifically I'm not sure but if they did expect to lay out about $1500.00 for a set of gears you will have to install yourself.
