Clogged Cat? what should I do?

I finished my swap a couple months ago and i've put about 3-4k miles on it so far. One of the things left on my to-do list has been to get a hose to recirculate my bov (greddy type s). I've been too lazy and I like the sound too much so i've been driving with an atmosph. bov. Lately i've had some power loss. I've already set the timing correct, checked for piping leaks, and it's boosting well.

When I swapped, i used a 3" dp, 3" catco cat, and 3" N1. It was running very rich the first couple weeks it was in because of a MAFS wiring problem. After driving it this long, it's lost some responsiveness, boosts a little slower, and I think i've got a couple exhaust leaks starting. I'm getting ready to take the exhaust back apart to check the cat, but first I want to know what I should do about this.

I've checked out my options, someone tell me what I should do:A) Is there anyway to un-clog the cat? (hope that isn't a dumb question) Mine is brand new and I don't want to trash it yet. If this is possible, i'll recirc. the bov and re-use the cat.

B) Buy a resonated test pipe and save the cat for emissions testing.

C) If the cat is no good anymore, be a redneck and knock out the insides of the cat. I'll have a dummy cat to trick any authorities. I'd rather not have a crappy exhaust sound though.

D) what else?

er I dont think there's a way to unclog a cat. usually the matrix melts or something like that. You'd probably be best off trashing the innards via hammer so you don't get busted for no cat. Dunno about your emissions testing but yeah you might wanna buy a new cat to replace the one you might just have to toss or gut.
