I'm having some issues clocking my turbo any body that can help that'd be great. I have a turbonetics t3/t4 60trim. I searched to see if any one else had a similar problem and the only thing that i could find that was somewhat relevant was the post by wild_maxx a while back. My problem/question is the basically the same as his. im doing a top mount setup and i have my turbo pointing downwards my issue is like wild_maxx that my oil lines hookups are 180 degrees in the wrong direction and and i needa clock that part of the turbo .. i already clocked the cold part... So theres 5 bolts i took out the 6th one i cant get out b/c the the oil drain fitting is in the way and its part of the turbo so i can only get the bolt partially out any ways I have no idea how to get the bolt out in the first place secondly its not turning or moving and i need it to turn 180 degrees i don't know where to begin especially since i cant get the bolt out so if any one has the same turbo maybe you'll know what im talking about .. .i really wanna get it clocked and mounted so i can go ahead and do my oil lines so if anyone knows pleeeeeaaaaaaaassseee HELP ME!! thanks!

not positive, but im pretty sure you unbolt the turbine and compressor from the center section and just spin it and bolt it back together

You don't need the bolts all the way out to clock a turbo you dont even need to take off those brackets just make sure their loose and you should be fine .

man... well i took the bolts on both sides.. cept that one sixth bolt i mentioned.... and well only one side spins all i wanna do is spin the center section and turn it 180 degrees my guess is that the hot side is seized... is that a possibility if so had do i break it free?

I don't see why spraying some PB blaster on it would hurt anything . I know autozone is having a sale on PB blaster too heh I just picked up like 3 cans lol.

Ok, don't panic...LOL. First off, good call on the PB Blaster...that stuff rocks. However, you're gonna smoke like a banshee once that dudes all put together, which is normal so don't freak out.

I had to dismantle my T3 off of an RB20 that had 203,000 miles on the damn thing. Once you've covered the center section in PB, simply tap whatever section won't free up with a hammer. Try to alternate sides when tapping so as not to seize whatever section you're hitting. It should pop lose and free spin after that allowing you to find the sweet spot and tighten up both sides. I put my turbo's in a vice anytime I work on them.
