The clock on my car has just started to lose time pretty badly. Is this fixable? Or is the only thing for it to replace it with a new unit?

Is the adjustment knob pushed in all the way and locked?

This is a first! I haven't heard of the clocks dropping time before... As long as your charging system is working properly (to rule out any problems with low voltage) I'd say it's time for a new clock. The junkyard I visited last Friday will sell one for $25. I wanted to buy one and make it in to a cool desk clock, but didn't feel like parting with the $$$. The interior Q parts in that yard aren't well protected from the weather, but that gives you a reference price...
