clock light

I just noticed my clock light is out on my 2001 nissan pathfinder LE. from all I read so far it sounds light wiring needs to be resoldered??
Any one have info on how to do this?? My pathy is old but in great shape otherwise ,only 26,000 miles !!!

I am having a hard time getting the clock off any suggestions?? I found the notch for the screwdriver but it is not coming off afraid of cracking the surronding bezel
