I have a 2001 LE and I just purchased it. I've had it for a couple days and this morning I noticed my clock light was no longer working. Last night it was working fine. Where do I find the fuse for it? How do I check the bulb for it?

Anyone with insight, please help me out. I appreciate it.

As far as I know the clock backlight is part of its LCD. Does your clock work at all (i.e. if you shine a flashlight on it, can you still read the clock?), or is it completely blank? Some clocks have the issue where a resistor has a bad solder joint and reflowing this solder fixes the clock again. Read this topic on NPORA.

My clock did work fine just yesterday. It was fully lit and it increased/decreased intensity when i turned the knob.
But today, it's completely blank. It's not lit up at all. I can't read it when I shine a flashlight.
Thanks

Had the same issue with my 01 LE Pathy. It's the clock itself and an issue with the soldering. When It would go out I would tap on it a few times and It would light back up, but usually would go out the minute I hit a decent bump. Replaced it with a used unit from a fantastic Nissan/Infiniti used parts source. A new one for me (I used to work at Nissan, so I still tend to get some decent deals in parts) would have set me back $150. Market is $230. I got the used one for $60, shipping included. Let me know if you need the clock and I can give you their info!

Exact same senario as myself. I soldered up a crack in R5 and saved myself $60 :bigthumb:

Hi there,

I've just done reparing my clock today. It's quite simple. I've done re-soldering all the resistor and it works.

I save some money today. Next, I'll add an aux input to the stereo.
