clock light doesn't work

My clock light doesn't work even though I have change the bulb. The clock itself works, but it will not light up. All the other instrument lights work.I changed the buld and at some point in the proccess it worked for like 5 seconds and now I can't get it to work anymore. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Oh yeah, its a 95 base model 240sx.

is the wire supplying the power to the lighting getting juice?

I figured out that it is indeed the light bulb. The one I replace it with doesn't fit snugly in the socket so it was not making connection the whole time. The only bulb I have been able to find to replace the burned out one is from the dealer for $22.45. That is for a bulb and the socket. Just the bulb from Fishers Auto Parts is like $1.03 and the dealer doesn't have a bulb that fits without getting the socket too.

When I first got my 92' 240sx my clock light did not work either...I was driving around one night about 3 weeks after I bought the car and noticed the clock light just turned on...now it works!?! My car fixed its self...

Yeah I have the same problem but mine is because the plastic housing is fubar and the bulb won't stay in anymore. Got I hate plastic!! I am just going to buy a new housing piece.
