try replacing your dome light fuse. That should take care of it.

I assume you don't work on electronics in cars often? Nissan is not the only ones to do that. many car manufacturers do that........ not at all uncommon. not even close.

there is one wire that is auxilary power for the clock, seatbelts, door chime, cluster lights, license lights, running lights. you may not have connected this to the right spot. this drove me crazy when it happened to me. i had to open my door before i turned the car off just so my seatbelts would release me. All i did was ran a wire from an extra battery and started connecting it to wires, when the clock came back on i ran that to an auxilary source. hope this helps

Hello this is my first post. I'm also having the same problem. The radio and clock was working fine. Then I jumped the car because the battery was drained from checking the radio. When I jumped it off the clock went out, the radio went dead, and I heard a clicking noise coming from the fuse panel. I checked all fuses and they are all good. What the hell did I do? Thanks

My clock s hit the bed 2 weeks ago. for a 9 it has a 7, for a 1 its a 4 .... its all messed up. and when you got to reset the time it says 4:35 :lol its suppise to got to 1:00

And yes on the asinine harness. i remember in my 94 sentra, tail light got shorted out, and in turn shorted out my tail lights/cluster/radio/hvac etc. $hit sucks.

But i still love you nissan

i recall the dome light fuse in my old coupe being linked to all sorts of odd things, like the stereo, clock, dash lights, try checking that

I went back and checked all the fuses one more time and found the missing link. It was a brown 7.5 amp fuse. The Electronic Battery Fuse. Go figure. Thanks Guys.
