Clock / Climate Control Illumination Out

The illumination on my clock went out. Also, part of the illumination on the Climate Control unit went out too.First thought was a fuse. Checked all fuses and they are fine.

Anyone know what fuse to check for the clock and/or climate control unit illuminiation on a 2000 Infiniti I30t? Any other suggestions on what to check?

Maybe the bulbs went? I'm not familiar with the '01 130, however, if Infiniti has not changed the way these accessories are made from the way they where in the 90's, the little bulbs would be easy to change. You just need to remove the trim and take the compnenets out and change the bulbs. The bulbs look like little screws on the back of the component.

Yeah, it's probably the bulbs. I was just hoping I would not have to tear the dash apart.

Here is a step by step DIY yourself bulb replacement assuming that dis-assembly of the dash is the same as in 90's Infiniti's.

bulbs can be bought at the dealer, they are cheap.

my dash lights also (1990 q) also when I turn on lights my climate control lights go out, my illum. switch turns on roof light when turned up all the way, but doesn't dim any thing!
