Clips on the IACV

Car: '89 Hatch DE swap

So i have a 89 Hatch chassis with a 93 ka24de in it. Swap was done previous owner so I'm getting to go back and clean up all the "shortcuts" Had been having idling problems and found my IACV to have no spring inside it. So I went to Courtesy and ordered a new one. Got the old one off again went to put the new one on and instead of having and instead of having staple clips like the old one, this one has snap clips. Did i get the wrong IACV or did the sub harness come with different clips at different times? I just ordered the IACV air regulator too since they are one the same harness.
