Whelp my clip arrived on friday.....had a good time trying to get a 6 foot pallet off a 3.5 foot lift gate. I literally had to hold one end up while it was lowered.

Clip looks gooood, if a little dirty. Theres no oil in the intake and the turbo has zero end play. Spins pretty free as well. Take a look at the odo on the gauge. Wootage.

BTW is it a bad thing that the tach is pegged in the direction that it is? Also does the speedo have a mph settign or will I have to learn to convert on the fly.

i think you can just move the needle on the tach to the other side, move it counter-clockwise.

On sale from Venus for 1200, but shipping was a ***** and a half.

On another note, anybody want a non tested JDM AC compressor?

Did you have it shipped to your house? And how much was shipping in addition to the $1200?

Ahh tachs always die in their last known location!! haha.. j/k.... I'm sure its not an indicator of redliiinnneeeeee BAM!

That color of green has to be the sickest color ever produced.. looks just like puke green w/ metal flake!

Nice all OE looking clip.. just what you want. Compression check and leakdown check that biatch and start getting errr all swapped..

Would you like to sell any of the parts off of it?"

Yeah shipped it to a buddies place to do the swap. I think it was 300 + 55 for a truck with a (too small) liftgate + 30 to rent a pallet jack.

Hehe maybe I have some super stealth rev monster and it spins to 10000 all day long :) Color looks just like the silvia in initial d.......forget the name of the guy that had it, but I think it was a two tone.

Xtreme: What kind of parts you need? I'm not gonna part anything off it till I have it up and running and know what I can do without.

So is this the standard gauge cluster or do some of em have a needle type speedo as well? Plus where is the boost gauge.

That is the heads up display gauge cluster. If your car has analog gauges, the HUD cluster WONT plug in.

If you have analog gauges and if you car is 89-90 then you will need a 91-94 analog gauge cluster.

And ill buy that HUD cluster from you :-)

umm actually i'm swapping into a s12 so Im not all that sure I can use it.........I do have all the dash wiring so I'm thinking I can get something cobbled together, but if not I'll be selling it for sure. HUD huh? Seeing as my dash didn't come with the clip I guess I don't have the projector.

Nice Clip, for sure. Was it a hassle dealing with Venus Auto? Also, how long did it take for delivery? I'm definitely thinking about going to Venus for my engine... As soon as I pay down these damn credit cards or hit the lotto...

Good luck with the install.

Screw Venus. Get something from Dee, or Jarco if you can. My #3 cylnder is scored and so is the piston, and I know it was like that before I got to it because I've done nothing to it. If you get a motor from Venus, I HIGHLY recommend planning on a full rebuild.
