ya no idea what to name this..BUT my ? for u guys is

never used the climate control up until about a few weeks ago..yess that includes no ac in summer winidows down music up. .i just cant have the ac blowing on blast and windows up..what if a shorty pulls up and says something. .im not taking a chance of not being prepared by having to roll down the window for the whole 1.5 secs..now that i got that off my chest

1.winter time is almost here and windows tend to fog up. whenever i press the window button the ac goes on too..is it supposed to be that way? even when the heat is up the ac light is on? and everytime i have to turn it off..

2.another thing is when i do press the fan button its automatically set to the floor settings even though the last time i had it on the top vent setting and i have to keep pressing mode to get it to the desired setting..

3.when the climate control if off..is there a way to change the temp because at highway speeds aka 100mph++ it tends to get a bit toasty with the setting on 90deg..so i have to turn the air on and THEN lower the temp to 60 and then turn it back off so i dont get warm air blowing in..

1. The AC goes on to help defog the windows. Blowing non-dehumidified (non-AC air) onto the windows will usually just fog them up more. When you turn on the defog/defrost mode the AC will kick on so that it can clear the fog faster/better, since the air coming via the AC is dehumidified and more effective at clearing the fog (which is just a lot of moisture/humidity stuck on the glass). As I understand this is a standard feature on any car with AC, for something like the past 20 years.

its a good thing havong the compressor on anyway. you should run your ac at leat 5-10 min a week, so your r134 won't leak.
