Is fixing a climate control unit costly. And does it lead to other problems or is it isolated?:help

Depends! Mostly just display failures [90-93Q] from vibration [open/cold solder joints]........10 times more likely than a total failure.

You either replace with one from Ebay or junkyard, get it repaired or buy a new one at 25% discount from one of our sponsors.

Never tried it since we've never seen a 94 fail [no stock to compare] but most 94 modules are different due to the body control module additions and data bus wiring methods.
