Pull off the top half of the console, its held on with clips. Then 4 screws hold the Climate Control.

wel i was origionaly going to just try to replace the bulbs and maybe look where i could relocate it but now that there is this digital control i've been hearing about i might just hook that one up. do you know of anywhere where i could get one?

The digital one is a JDM one, which WON'T directly plug in. You need to do a lot of work for that one to work. My dam* climate control doens't light up. It's lit up I think 3 times since I've had the car, so theres probably a short in it somewhere.

The CC unit and lights are a real..female dog sometimes. Mine were blinking on and off, so I pulled it and changed the bulbs per the 240SX.org FAQ. Really easy install; the lights work great now, but...the heater control is farked now, it's stuck on Surface Of The Sun. In August. I've been monkeying around with it, but no luck so far, further update if I get lucky.
