Climate control swap?

i feel like such a n00b since i always use the search feature first. while i was lurking i found a thread on here (i think ) that mentioned it was possible to take the dual zone controls and that they would just plug and play into the manual climate controls. now i can not find that thread anywere, even with a search.

so here is the question: can you take the automatic dual zone controller and have it functional with a car that came with manual controls?

nope, there are some other parts needed to have different temps in the car for passanger and driver. check the FSM
