Climate Control stuck in ON position--01 PF LE

Hey guys,I started my car a few days ago and instantly the a/c went off and now stuck at the highest fan speed.If I press the OFF button,it just recirculates the air through the lower feet level vents, if I press any other button it comes straight out from both upper and lower vents.I can adjust the temperature but no fan speed control at all.



Any suggestions?

Hey Adnan.

It's your Fan Control Amp. It's a common problem with Pathys a Q's with the auto climate control. Do a search in the forum for Fan Control Amp and there should be a thread on it. If you try and buy one new they are not cheap. I called some local auto wreckers here in canada and did some searching in the wrecked ones they had and finally found one. Cost me $10 cause they didn't know what it was worth new ($200). Good Luck

Thanks for the quick response,you just saved me lenghtly and potentially pricey diagnostic lol. am currently on the hunt for a PF for parts, but I might just the fan control amp new from the dealership,I don't know how long I can take the blowing air :LOL

have you tried unplugging the unit untill you are able to get the fix?
