Climate Control Shuts Off w/ No Memory of Previous Setting

The climate control in my 2008 M35X no longer remembers the previous setting and shuts off everytime the car shuts off. I called the Dealer and they didn't have any explanation. I've tried just about every combo of climate control settings and then turning the car on/off with nothing making a difference. It's not a huge problem, just kind of annoying.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If you can't live with that then consider replacing the console with the buttons.

I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Frankly, I'll just live with it. Knock on wood that's the only problem to date with my M. Just turned 120k on it.

So, in the end I figured out what the problem was, thanks to Nicoclub forums! The problem with the climate control was all connected to my problem with the Homelink not working and my analog clock not working. It was a fuse!!! I called 2 Infiniti dealers and not one of the service advisors mentioned a fuse or had a clue what my problem could be. Once I did figure out it was a fuse, I called Infiniti to try to determine which fuse exactly controls the analog clock, guess what, they had no idea.

Where would we be without the web????!!! This online forum is awesome, $1 fuse and my problem is solved.

By the way the fuse that controls all of this is called "Elec Parts" and it's the MAIN "Elec Parts" fuse (it's in bold text) in the passenger compartment.
