Climate control problems

Hi guys,
I just bought a 91 300zx NA a month ago. I use to own a NSX, love it. Awesome car, but it got stolen and still the police can't find it. I can't afford another NSX right now, but i have always liked the 300zx. So i just bought one. When i bought it, i didn't pay attention to the climate control. It wasn't lighting up or working. So i just assume it was broken. So i bought a new climate control and installed it. Yet it doesn't work. Nothing lights up nor does the blower blow anything. I was wondering if anybody can help me. I am gonna swap the motor to a tt when it dies. I wanted to gut the whole car. this car has 200k miles but the motor drives very well. I started reading about tt after i bought the car....should have done homework first...lol...oh well i love the color and the fact it it is a 2+2. So it is longer then the regular tt. I am about 6-7k into this car so far. No regrets cause after i'm done it's gonna be a completely new car. Can you guys help me with this controller problem. It been cold lately and it be nice to be able to use the heater.

Climate control is a hard one to troubleshoot, ESPECIALLY if the unit won't light up/display. Have you checked fuses?

Yeah i've checker it looks like all fuses are ok, but i haven't test the power is there or not. I don't know what it's called on the fuse. I am a not good on cars, i know bits and parts. I am a contractor. So i can do some trouble shooting but i am not the brights tools in the shed....lol. Pls help me.

Have you checked both the kick panel and the box in the hood?

yeah. It makes beeping noise when i push buttons, but the screen is blank and nothing happens to the blowers.
