Climate control lights?

This is kind of an odd question but are the icons on the climate control supposed to light up? You know, the little icons that show where the air is coming out. At night, it's impossible to see what your pressing. The only thing on my climate control that light up are the green light above the icons.

I find it pretty odd that they don't light up. (240 s13, not digital btw)

there are bulbs at the top of the HVAC.

1. Remove Center trim2. Remove climate control.3. You'll see 2 small circular things with like a philips driver hole, those are the bulbs. 4. Replace.

its really common for the s13 bulbs to be dead. i had to replace mine a couple weeks ago after having 2 s13s with no climate backlighting.

easy stuff. you dont even have to remove your climate control, you just need to pull out the headunit/din pocket and let the climate control thing drop. leave it all hooked up.

then you just flip up a little cover on the top of the climate box and itll reveal a grey and a black plastic phillips head thing. pull them puppies out and put in new bulbs the same way they were in there before.

Cool thanks guys, figured I'd ask first before I took the radio out only to find out they don't illuminate, lol.
